Welcome to the Master's level application page for US citizens. On this page you will find all of the documents and information you'll need to apply to the Master in Divinity, Master of Arts, Anglican Studies, and Diploma in Theology programs. Use this form if you are a US citizen, whether living inside or outside of the United States. If you are NOT a US citizen, but are: 1) a permanent resident (green card holder); or 2) an F-1 student visa holder currently studying in the United States and in a process toward ordination in an Episcopal Diocese in the United States, please contact the VTS Admissions Office to discuss whether this is the most appropriate form for you to use.
The final deadline for applying to the Master's level programs for the following Fall term is May 1. PLEASE NOTE: earlier deadlines apply for those competing for a merit scholarship.
The final deadline for applying to the M.A., Anglican Studies, or Diploma in Theology programs to begin study in the Spring semester is October 1.
In addition to completing the online application form, you will need to prepare and submit a variety of other materials. Information about these materials and supporting documents is included in the introduction section of the application form and can also be found here.
A complete application packet will consist of the electronically submitted Master's level application form, the additional required documents, and the $75.00 application fee. All materials and the fee should be mailed together in one packet to the VTS Admissions Office at 3737 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22304. We will not consider incomplete applications, and will not continue with the application/interview process until the packet of supporting documents has been received.
